“UFO” is a transformative VR project that immerses viewers in the personal and spiritual encounters of nine individuals from diverse corners of the world. Through face-to-face monologues, these ordinary people share their extraordinary experiences of encountering extraterrestrial beings, taking audiences on a journey beyond the ordinary and into the profound.
The monologues are based on the text of the famous, award-winning Russian-Polish playwright and director Ivan Vyrypaev, who is also the screenwriter and co-director of this project.
Each episode in this pseudo-documentary series explores a unique theme encapsulated by evocative titles such as “Silence”, “Safety”, “Interpenetration,” “Simplicity,” “Gratitude,” “Childhood and Serenity,” “The World in Me,” “God,” “Life,” and “Home”. These narratives delve deep into the impact these encounters have had on the individuals’ lives, focusing not on the mere fact of UFO contact but on the sacred and transformative nature of these experiences.
Nine monologue stories will be filmed across multiple European countries, featuring actors of different nationalities and backgrounds.
